A Fire safety officer is charged with ensuring that the possibility of a fire outbreak is reduced by coming up with ideas, strategies and procedures to achieve that. Fires are costly and have outcomes which ought to be avoided by all means necessary. The traditional strategy against fire has always been a reactive one instead of being a proactive one. Even though the trainees are taught firefighting, it is instilled in them to adopt fire prevention as a working strategy. At a moment’s notice, a fireman must be ready to perform job functions such as rescuing people or animals from burning or collapsed building, fighting fires and providing emergency medical assistance.

Firemen work with police, public and provide general assistance at accident & emergency scenes. They must possess a variety of skills required to ensure their success, all these skills are taught at the College.

Eligibility & Admissions

  • Passed BGCSE class Examination (24 points)
  •  Physically Fit
  • Preferably pass in sciences
  •  Proven ability to pay fees (Sponsorship letter)

Attendance & Training Timing

  • Registration and Admission fee is P250.
  •  The Course curriculum is set to be completed in 12 months.
  • Course fees include Tuition fee, examination fee (1st attempt), Study material, ID cards, Stationery and verifications, Certifications.

Certification

  • Weekly three days classes.
    Ÿ Special batches on weekends as per convenience.
    Ÿ 75% attendance of the total no of working days will be regarded as satisfactory. Student having less than 75% of the attendance will not be eligible for the final examination.
    Ÿ Candidates who have 40% marks secured in each paper shall be declared to have passed the examination. After the successful completion of the course & training the individual get certificate from COFS.
