RATIONALE: Where handling of hazardous material such as leaks, spillages, accidents that may cause fire or danger to life is required, trained people are needed. Hazardous substances have a potential impact to injure the person or environment, so safe handling, use and disposal at all times is always needful. The course is designed to provide information, instruction in the labeling, identification and proper response to HAZMAT incidents in accordance with best practice and international law.
