RATIONALE: Firefighting has always been the domain of municipal Fire brigade. It is critical and important to have a local response team in case of fire at workplace. This saves time and damage to property before arrival of Fire Department. An officer trained at this level also has enough knowledge of fire equipment which enables him/ her to manage and ensure readiness of equipment and systems for any fire eventuality. This is a bridge between the Fire department and the occupational environment.
